Overview:
As Jim Collins said in his highly acclaimed book Good to Great, the most ingredient for organizational success is "getting the right people in the right seats on the bus". This seminar provides the practical tools for designing and implementing hiring processes for positions ranging from entry level to senior executives.
Starting with the foundation for effective hiring, the session begins with understanding and articulating job requirements. From there, the focus shifts to recruitment - effective and efficient ways to generate a pool of qualified candidates. Next we will explore the array of assessment tools available to yield information regarding candidate capability.
For each of the assessment approaches, the seminar will discuss the design, implementation, and evaluation of methods designed to make informed decisions regarding whom to hire. Participants will learn to choose the appropriate tools and how to use them effectively. Attention will also be paid to the legal environment, focusing on minimizing the probability of subsequent lethal action by disgruntled applicants.
Why should you attend:
The foundation of your organization is its people. Attracting and selecting qualified people are the important decisions any company makes.
