Updated legislation is due to be introduced to the live event sector in April 2015. Are you prepared? Do you know where your responsibility lies?

To help remove some misconceptions and help you develop an informed approach to your own H&S; responsibilities as well as of those who work around you we invite a panel of industry Health & Safety experts to share their experience and knowledge.

18:00 – Networking drinks

19:00 – Panel discussion and Q&A.; Panelists confirmed:

Lee Holloway, Head of Safety Health Environment and Quality, Freeman

Simon Garrett, Managing Director, X-Venture Global Risk Solutions

Some questions to be answered:

  • Did you know that an event specific risk assessment has been a legal requirement since 1999?
  • As an event organiser, if one of your subcontractors falls from a ladder why might all eyes be on you?
  • Is an exhibition organiser responsible for every stand built?
  • What’s the smallest size of event where H&S; should be considered?

20:00 – Networking and drinks

21:30 – Close

This is a free event co-organised with GMGNetwork a Live Event Consultancy, experts on Health & Safety (H&S;).
