An introduction to film festivals and all of the key areas discussed during the full day and half a day workshops will be covered. However, the master class session offers an opportunity for the participants short films to be screened (or for them to pitch and discuss their current in-development projects) for bespoke feedback and advice with regard to how to design their films festival campaign. 
An exemplary festival film Rebekah has worked on will be used as a case study and the film maker will be invited to join the workshop in order to discuss their film festival experiences. Female and ethnic minority film makers will be prioritised.
