Family Star

A One Day Training Course for Practitioners

This training is essential training for practitioners in the Children and Families Sector who want to develop an outcomes approach in their work.

Family Star is an outcomes measurement tool for parent support work.

By the end of the day participants will:

•  Understand how to work collaboratively with families to use the tool to empower the family and enable change.
•  Have the skills and knowledge to use Family Star to evidence the outcomes of their intervention.
•  Identify implementation issues in their organisation.

The sessions will be delivered by IMPACT MATTERS, a not for profit organisation based in Lewisham and a key partner in the Family Pathways Project. Impact Matters has partnered Pre-school Learning Alliance in developing Family Pathways, particularly through the development and implementation of monitoring systems to support the project, partnership support and sustainability.
