This full day event, being held on Thursday 26th June will take place at Aintree Racecourse, Ormskirk Rd, Liverpool, L9 5AS, providing the opportunity for organisations from across the NHS, academia and industry to come together and form a mutually beneficial partnership with the goal of improving health and social care and creating economic benefits through the uptake and deployment of health solutions across the region.

Connected Health is an umbrella term which includes eHealth, mHealth, Digital Health, pHealth, telehealth, telecare along with other terms which promote the use of technology within health.

The launch event will give delegates the opportunity to:

• Be introduced to the Ecosystem and find out what it means for you and how we can take opportunities forward
• Hear from other ecosystems, including internationally, and find out about their successes
• Network and develop new and existing relationships across the NWC Ecosystem.

We will also start to explore:

• How we could develop and deploy connected health solutions through an Ecosystem to identify needs and improve patient and client health and social care
• How we could best promote connected health innovations to shape future healthcare delivery
• How clinicians, researchers and businesses could work together collaboratively in an ecosystem

The event is being held by the North West Coast Academic Health Science Network in partnership with the Liverpool International Business Forum and the European Connected Health Alliance and is part of the European Connected Health Alliance International Network of Connected Health Ecosystems.
