Intensive Fundraising Lab featuring talks, practical sessions, and one-on-one tutoring.
The Real Circumstance Fundraising Lab takes a comprehensive approach to developing your fundraising skills, within an encouraging and informal environment.
The Lab is delivered by Anna Bewick, Co-Founder and Creative Producer of Real Circumstance and a Strategic Consultant. She has a proven fundraising track record, having raised over £140,000 in the past five years for small arts organisations from Arts Council England (including seven consecutive successful applications for Real Circumstance), charitable foundations, local and regional councils, co-producers, and private donors.
Tailored to your projects and requirements, whether you are an individual artist or a theatre company, the Lab covers:
- Fundraising Strategies: the different types of funding avenues available for your professional development and your creative projects, and how to find and approach funders.
- Project Planning & Budgeting: how to plan a detailed and accurate project timeline, and write a thorough, realistic and appropriate budget.
- Proposal writing: practical sessions & one-on-one tutoring on how to write strong, tailored funding proposals to grant-making organisations, funding letters to individuals, and crowd-funding pitches.
