Biography
Debbie's current company InitLive (www.initlive.com) takes a mobile-first approach to managing the most mobile of resources at events - the team on the ground. InitLive is the only company that equips event managers, event staff and volunteers with both a real-time communication system and a comprehensive scheduling service. This allows event supervisors to be in instant contact with one, some or all of their staff creating a safer event environment. The solution shares all key event information via mobile devices, including schedules and contact details, eliminating the need for paper.

InitLive has been chosen as one of the top ten new innovative event technologies by IMEX, EIBTM and TechsyTalk.

Debbie has worked at Mitel, Pika, prairieFyre, SipQuest, Wesley Clover and now works at InitLive. Her roles have included Software Engineer, Director of Strategic Technology, Product Manager, VP Innovation and CEO.

Specialties: She holds 45 patents and has 9 pending mostly related to architecture and features for communications systems.

She is bringing her wealth of knowledge on communications systems to the volunteer/staff management arena. She has currently filed 4 patents in this area.
